I’m Emma Ellsmore, a qualified teacher, school advisor, and founder of Leap Street SELECT. With a Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary) and a Graduate Diploma of Career Development, I bring a rare combination of classroom expertise and pathway insight to support families in choosing the right school for their child.

With over a decade of experience working closely with students, families, and school leadership teams, I offer a deep and practical understanding of how schools truly operate — beyond what is presented online or in a prospectus. My work across a wide range of school environments has given me valuable insight into what makes each school unique, and which settings best support different learners.

Throughout my career, I’ve built strong relationships with principals, teachers, and education specialists. This inside perspective allows me to provide families with informed, honest, and highly personalised guidance — grounded in real experience rather than generic advice.

As both an educator and a parent, I understand the pressure that comes with school selection. It’s one of the most significant decisions families make, and it can feel overwhelming. My role is to help you cut through the noise, clearly understand your options, and make a confident, well-supported decision that aligns with your child’s needs and your family values.
